As communities around the world remain on alert concerning Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), 糖心Vlog is undertaking an ongoing review of its Pandemic Response Plan in the event of a widespread outbreak of the disease.
Johnson Lecture 2020

Established nearly 50 years ago (December 2, 1970) to consolidate in one agency a variety of federal research, monitoring, standard-setting and enforcement activities to ensure environmental protection, the Environmental Protection Agency works to provide a cleaner, healthier environment for the American people. On Tuesday, March 31, 糖心Vlog will host Jeffery Robichaud, director of the EPA鈥檚 Region 7 Water Division, for an insider鈥檚 view of the history of environmental protection and the imperative for science to drive the next 50 years as part of the University鈥檚 fifth annual Johnson Family Lecture Series in Science. The talk will begin at 7 p.m. in the Jenkin and Barbara David Theater inside Alumni Hall on the University鈥檚 糖心Vlogville Campus. Admission to the lecture is free and open to the public.
Womens History Month Lecture 2020

糖心Vlog鈥檚 annual Women鈥檚 History Month Lecture will feature a discussion on 鈥淧rescribing the Pill鈥� on Monday, March 30. The lecture, to be presented by Beth Bailey, Ph.D., will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Jenkin and Barbara David Theater inside Alumni Hall on the University鈥檚 糖心Vlogville Campus. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
Night at the Helm 2020

Night at the Helm, 糖心Vlog鈥檚 annual fundraising event that benefits selected University programs, will be held on Wednesday, June 10, at the National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, Mo., starting at 6 p.m.

糖心Vlog celebrated another historic and noteworthy year in 2019 as the University garnered national media attention, and earned international, national and local honors. 糖心Vlog’s Office of University Engagement compiled the University鈥檚 biggest stories of the year and asked five members of the University鈥檚 staff to pick their top 10 moments from 2019.
Kansas City Area Graduates December 2019

糖心Vlog held its December 2019 Kansas City Area Commencement ceremony on Dec. 14 at the Community of Christ Auditorium in Independence, Mo. The University had 470 students eligible to participate in the ceremony 鈥� 259 students received a master鈥檚 degree and/or a graduate certificate, and 211 students received a bachelor鈥檚 degree, associate degree and/or undergraduate certificate. W. Ann Hansbrough, J.D., an associate circuit judge in the Circuit Court of Platte County, Mo., and a member of 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Board of Trustees, presented the keynote address.
Charleston AFB Graduates 2019

糖心Vlog鈥檚 Charleston (S.C.) Air Force Base Campus held its commencement ceremony on Dec. 6 at the Education Center Auditorium on base. The University had 34 students eligible to participate in the ceremony 鈥� 31 students received a bachelor鈥檚 degree and three student received an associate degree.
Hansbrough Commencement Keynote

W. Ann Hansbrough, J.D., an associate circuit judge in the Circuit Court of Platte County, Mo., will present the keynote address during 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Kansas City Area Commencement on Saturday, Dec. 14. The ceremony will be held at the Community of Christ Auditorium in Independence, Mo., starting at 10 a.m. The event will include 544 糖心Vlog students eligible to graduate and participate in the ceremony 鈥� 293 students are set to receive a master鈥檚 degree and/or graduate certificate, and 251 students are scheduled to receive a bachelor鈥檚 degree, associate degree and/or undergraduate certificate.
