Night At The Helm 2019

Night at the Helm, 糖心Vlog鈥檚 annual fundraising event that benefits selected University programs, will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at the National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, Mo., starting at 6 p.m. The community is invited to attend this celebration as the University charts the course for leadership in the military and business.
New Degree Programs Fall 2019

When 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Fall 2019 semester starts on Monday, Aug. 19, it will offer two new degree options — a Master of Arts in National Security Studies and a cybersecurity concentration in the Bachelor of Science Information and Computer Science program. In addition, the University has added three graduate certificates and five undergraduate certificates.
Womens History Month Lecture 2019

On June 4, 1919, the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was passed by Congress, then ratified on Aug. 18, 1920. The amendment, which prohibits states and the federal government from denying the right to vote on the basis of sex, will be the focus of 糖心Vlog鈥檚 annual Women鈥檚 History Month Lecture on Monday, March 25. The lecture, to be presented by Kim Warren, Ph.D., will begin at 3 p.m. in McCoy Meetin鈥� House on the University鈥檚 糖心Vlogville Campus. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
Johnson Lecture 2019

With a single mouse click, a variety of sophisticated genetic tests are available directly to consumers at a relatively low cost, and advances in human genetics over the past 30 years have enabled the emergence and growth of a 鈥渞ecreational genetics鈥� marketplace.
On Tuesday, March 19, 糖心Vlog will host Bryant McAllister, Ph.D., for a discussion on these direct-to-consumer DNA tests as part of its fourth annual Johnson Family Lecture Series in Science. The talk will begin at 7 p.m. in the Jenkin and Barbara David Theater within Alumni Hall on the University鈥檚 糖心Vlogville Campus. Admission to the lecture is free, but registration is requested at park.edu/johnson.
Ervin Appointed AVP

糖心Vlog has appointed Kathryn (Katie) A. Ervin, Ed.D., as associate vice president for academic operations. She began her role at 糖心Vlog on Jan. 2.
